She is a Jungian analytical psychologist who is giving up her practice to write full time.  Diana says it’s a kind of therapy in itself.

 Diana was married for forty five years to a successful man who had two careers. One as a lawyer in Hong Kong, where they lived the first seven years of their married life, and where their three sons were born, and the second as a television executive in London. Life was exciting and challenging for Dick on returning to the UK but Diana had to find an outlet for herself which would lead to her becoming more independant. In other words, she felt a strong need to be an invidual in her own right.
